The challenge of the climate crisis is upon us, however, and EVs are the solution for a culture like ours (like most western cultures, too, although with a nod of appreciation to more public transit-oriented countries) and the likelihood of this culture changing beyond our personal car fixations is practically nil, at least in the time frame of our needing action to address climate change.
